In this Direct Fire Suppression System (De Tec method), the linear heat sensing cable detects and extinguishes the fire. When a fire is detected, the tube bursts, and at that point forms a nozzle through which the extinguishing agent is sprayed. This is an ideal solution for fires in localized areas.

The Direct Fire De Tec system is available in 2 variants.

• Low Pressure: FE-36 , HCFC 123, NAF PIV ,NAF S 125
• High Pressure: CO2, Inert Gases

Indirect:
In this Indirect Fire Suppression method, the Linear heat sensing cable only acts as a detection mechanism, in an event of the fire, the agent of choice is delivered to the location by a steel conduit and sprayed across the area through strategically placed nozzles.

The heart of the system is the Linear Heat Sensitive pneumatic polymer tubing. It is connected at one end to a Supremex extinguishing Agent container, which the rest runs through the risk area, in a predetermined manner. When the flame touches the tubing and it reaches a temperature of 90 Deg. C, the tubing bursts at it hottest point (which is nearest to the most vulnerable part of the fire ), thus forming a nozzle.
